Lincoln Park voters may choose to vote In-person at their precinct or by Absentee ballot

In-person voters should check their polling place ahead of time to insure that they know where their polling place is located.    We expect that all regular polling locations will be available on Election Day.
You can check your registration and precinct location at  https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us
Precincts are open from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm.  Please have your picture ID with you.
We will be wearing masks and ask that you do as well.
We will be practicing social distancing for your safety and ours, therefore space inside the precincts may be limited and lines may extend outside of the buildings.  Please remember to dress appropriately for the weather.
The voting precincts are a campaign free zone.  No campaigning is allowed within 100' of the precinct entrance.  You will be asked to remove or cover anything with a candidate or party's name, slogan or symbol on it, including t-shirts, hats, masks, buttons & literature.

Absentee voters should get their applications in to the City Clerk's office as early as possible.
Please call the Clerk's office to request an application at (313)386-1800 ext. 1248 or 1247.  You may also apply for an absentee ballot in-person at the City Clerk's office or on line at https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us

Absentee ballots are available over the counter in the Clerk's office beginning 40 days before every election.  Only the voter may pick up a ballot.  It is against State law to allow anyone else to pick up your ballot.
The deadline for us to mail an AV ballot is the Friday before each election, but we encourage you do apply much sooner than that.  It may not be possible for the ballot to reach you in the mail if you wait.  We encourage voters to get their application in early to allow time for delivery.

Please return your AV ballot as soon as you have completed it to insure it is received on time.   The ballot must be placed in the gold security sleeve with the number visible (do not attempt to seal the security sleeve).   Place the security sleeve in the green & white envelope provided.  The green & white envelope is then sealed and signed by the voter.

AV ballots must be returned to our office by 8:00 pm on Election Day to be counted.
Ballots can be returned to the Clerk's office in-person Mon-Fri  8a-4p or by using our  drop boxes 24/7 .
You may also return your ballot by postal mail.   Postage is required.  First-class Postal Mail requires up to 5 days for delivery.  Please allow enough time for delivery or return it to our drop box
