Montie Ave Reconstruction

Through a selective bidding process, the City of Lincoln Park has awarded Hard Rock Concrete of Westland, Michigan a contract to complete the water main replacement and road reconstruction of Montie Avenue from Electric Avenue to Austin Avenue. Mobilization of equipment, installation of traffic control signage will begin on Monday, August 13, 2018 and the installation of the new water main expected to begin on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.

This project will consist of the installation of a new water main underneath the roadway of Montie Avenue from Electric Avenue to Austin Avenue and will include replacement of all valves and hydrants and water services from the new water main to the right-ofway line, in addition to the complete removal and replacement of the street. All driveway approaches from the street to the sidewalk will be removed and replaced, all storm sewer and catch basins crossing Montie Avenue will be replaced and any defective sidewalk will be removed and replaced.
