The Lincoln Park DDA and the EDC have the following resources available to eligible businesses:
Facade improvement Grants by the DDA
- Façade Improvement Grants are available for exterior improvements to existing buildings within the downtown area including signage, awnings, façade restoration, etc. Up to 50 % of the cost of eligible improvements may be reimbursable subject to approval by the DDA.
Small Business Loan program by the EDC
- A low interest fixed rate loan program is available through the Lincoln Park EDC for business expansion and capital improvements.
Brownfield Redevelopment Authority
- Grants and loans may be available for development of contaminated sites or functionally obsolete buildings.
Obsolete Property Rehabilitation Act (OPRA)
- Tax incentives for rehabilitation of obsolete buildings in downtowns and urban areas may be available subject to approval by the City.
Other incentives may be available through the Federal Government, State or County. The DDA / EDC can assist, partner with and connect business owners with grants, loans and other funding opportunities as available through other sources.
